Todays job was to install a blocker plate, custom made for a shopfront door because typical commercially available plates of similar ilk would not fit easily without moving the current door pull.
We decided upon aluminum L junction that we cut out to accept the existing door lock. We painted the aluminum plate with Flex Seal rubberized paint and Durontic color enamel rust resistant spray paint.
We attached the new plate with 3/16” rivets for a clean and permanent fit.
It works flawlessly and matches the aesthetics of the existing frame.
Customer is satisfied and ordered more work for another location. This being the fifth location we have done work for them.
